Quotes from participating agencies:
"We look forward to this special event each year. It's a chance for us to come together as a community to celebrate survivorship and give our clients a day off from cancer. In the past, we've even met people who later became volunteers at our organization because they wanted to give back to others going through what they went through. It's so gratifying to make those connections." - Neighborhood Cancer Connection - Supporter and Upstate Cancer Network member
“National Cancer Survivors Day reflects the heart of our mission- Spreading love, uplifting survivors, and reminding them that they are seen, supported, and never forgotten.” - For the Love of Zoey - Supporter and Upstate Cancer Network member
“Cancer Survivors Day is a great time to celebrate our Rhythms Of Life together. Through Music & Movement, we can express ourselves creatively, let our minds and bodies move freely, feel the support of a great group of friends, and enjoy the vibrational wellness that resonates beyond the park boundaries. Each month when we gather on the last Sunday, we share the joy we’ve discovered, share stories of support, and send healing rhythms to everyone that needs some good vibrations. Hope you can feel it, in-person or wherever you are too. We’re keeping the rhythms going just for you!” - Our World Festival Inc. - CSPA program facilitator, supporter and Upstate Cancer Network member
